OUR COFFEE IS LOCALLY SOURCED FROM SEVEN ROASTERS.

From Seven Roasters

Seven Coffee Roasters was started in a small cafe/roastery in the Greenwood neighborhood of Seattle in 2006 by Sean Lee.  Seven is named after Sean's grandmother, affectionately called "Nana" by grandkids.  Nana, in Japanese, means Seven.

In 2009, the cafe became Makeda Coffee and Seven Coffee Roasters evolved into a wholesale coffee company supplying various cafes, markets, bakeries, and restaurants in the Puget Sound region.  We were affectionately known as the "small roaster for small businesses".  The moniker stuck.

2012 brought a new retail location.  Established in 1922 and unofficially the second oldest market in Seattle, Seven Market & Cafe now sits where the former Boulevard Grocery once stood.  Inside you'll find a great selection of local goods, craft beer, fine wines, and a cool coffee bar.  We have a rotating selection of four taps that include local beers, ciders, and Seven Cold Brew in the Summer.

Today Seven Coffee Roasters can still be found at many small businesses around Puget Sound.  We roast coffee daily in White Center.  Our focus is still on small businesses.  Our values of hard-work, integrity, and compassion still serve as a tribute to the woman our company is named after.

 Mahalo!
